Concept2 had a unique start in 1976. Dick and Pete Dreissigacker began making composite racing oars in the back of a bread truck. From there, Concept2 created the Concept2 Indoor Rower in 1981 which became the best-selling rowing machine in the world. These rowers are used by everyone - Olympic athletes, intense gym-goers and of course, individuals at home keeping up their cardio routine.

Two years ago, members of our staff and their families came together to participate in the Sask Marathon. We had team members running in every category: 5K, 10K, half marathon, and even one brave soul running the full marathon. We can’t wait until we can all get together again!

🤔 Did you know? Is “No pain, no gain” good advice? . ❓Sean Kuechenmeister, Certified Athletic Trainer at the New York Sports Science Lab brands this “a myth for sure.” Soreness, he says, is the breakdown of muscle tissues followed by the release of toxins. And pain lasting over 72 hours suggests you're under-recovering and overtraining. Andy Stern, Founding Trainer and Director of Talent Rumble Boxing adds refusing to take a break yields constant wear that the body can’t handle. “If I'm doing a bicep curl, a small tear is going to happen so the body is going to repair itself because the machine knows how to survive.” But it needs downtime to heal itself.”
